Description

Pasta elicoidali 49 with durum wheat semolina. Elicoidale is a type of short pasta, characterised by a shape similar to an elongated fusillo. Thanks to its ribbed surface and enveloping shape, it is perfect for holding thick, full-bodied sauces: it goes well with meat sauces, tomato-based sauces and rich sauces such as carbonara. It is also excellent in baked preparations such as timbale or flans, as its shape helps to keep the structure of the dish compact.
